What is the age group targeted for the uLEAD junior leadership course, and why is it designed specifically for teenagers?
The course is designed for teenagers aged 13 to 19, focusing on their unique developmental needs and preparing them for self-leadership and leadership roles in their projects.
What are the key objectives of the course, and what skills or qualities will teenagers develop by the end of it?
The course aims to foster leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, empowering teenagers to become confident and effective leaders. We also focus on building a growth mindset and empowering youth to take ownership of their ideas and manifest them in their daily reality. We give them the tools to process information and the skills to implement their plans.
How is the course structured, and what topics or modules are covered throughout the program?
The course is structured with interactive modules covering topics such as leadership principles, communication, goal setting, and teamwork. There are 3 separate online modules, as well as two camp-like events (the Summer School and the Winter School). During the year we may organise a few weekend-ling events to focus on certain topics like Public Speaking and Group Dynamics.
